About Our Church
Started in 1985 July in a humble way in a small rented hut with literally no members at all, we have slowly grown to a strong 500 members church, most of them are Hindu converts and only very few from other denominations of Christianity or migrants from other churches. Now we have our own building, though not big enough to accommodate all believers at one service, we have two services in the morning and one in the evening. Still we are growing and praying and expecting God to provide us a spacious place to accommodate the entire congregation in one service.
About Pastor
Born in a strong Hindu family, Pastor Daniel accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in the year 1977 and in obedience to the definite call of God, he committed himself for full time ministry in 1983. A 1985 batch graduate of Maranatha Bible Training Institute, Chennai pioneered this church in 1985. This church has grown from zero to a strong 500 members congregation.
Pastor Daniel has attended the Advanced Leadership Training of Haggai Institute, Maui, Hawaii in 2004.
He has travelled extensively for more than 20 countries preaching and teaching the Word of God.
His wife Leolina is also in full time ministry helping the husband taking care of the Women and children ministry.
Daughter Hephzibah, Master in Electronics also involved in ministry leading worship and Sunday school.
Son Jonathan Edward, a post graduate with MBA and is working as Manager in a reputed Pharmaceutical company in Chennai and also involved in ministry leading worship and coordination of ministries.
Pastor Daniel was Secretary of Churches of Maranatha Full Gospel Association, the parent organization of the church, looking after more than 300 churches for 15 years. His responsibility was to take care of the welfare of the Pastors, build new churches and mentor new leaders. He relinquished the post in 2008 as he had to spend more time to his growing church.
